With Rangers now out of European football and no further income to clear their debts, is this the end for Glasgow club Players will need to be sold in January and they have to play the mighty Saints in the cup semi at the start of Feb.
The standard of their rivals the famous Glasgow Celtic is also falling quickly which begs the questions.
Are we about to enter a new era of Scottish football where the provincial clubs once again have a chance of winning the league
Will Petrocelli, ingin et al dump their teams before it all becomes too much |

Mailer, I have watched the 'TIC when they were a lot worse than this, believe me. I remember watching them when they were not much better than Saints! Hard to believe, but true.
Having been seriously concerned both about Mowbray's tactics, and signings for most of his time with us so far, I am at present, marginally calmer, in that he may actually have a modicum of a clue as to what he is doing. Either that, or we are having the only good patch to come all season, in which case I will want the bassa booted pronto again. |

I think the addition of the Korean strip salesman, Who-flung-gerrard and his compatriot, well they kind of lookee likee - Gee Whizz, the Sellick are already cementing their position in the global village of wurld mundial fitbacalciosoccer.
Even the big girlie gallut Sam ar ass is playing like Gunni Thorfesen so safe to say big miserable misery guts Mowbray is going to be all right.
The actual reason for success is wee Crosas but thats irrlevant.
I doubt a return to the mid eighties when part time teams won the cup and new, old and mid life firms could win the league or at least mount a serious challenge.
However ask yourself why those days are gone?
Easy - old chip on his shudder want a race murray.
He created a monopoly which became an unurvivable market and now we all have to feel sorry for the "you spend a pound we'll spend a fiver mob!"
Hurlock, Sterland, West, Falco etc etc etc... sometimes even the big dog shares his bones its a basic economic fact!
They wont go out of business but crowds will drop and when things start to go bad who goes to watch (both old firm teams) yep bigotted pea brains.
Nae sympathy and even I would love a return to the days when Scumdee United, Sheephaggers, Jambos and Hibees could fancy a stab at winning the league. |
