Simple and cheap option is to head through to Edinburgh for the day and evening. Not sure if you want to think about getting a bus organised to take you all back to Perth or find some cheap accomodation which shouldn't be too much of a problem at that time of the year.

Also if anyone has any proposals to keep us out the boozer all day, then note them here, personaly I'm quite happy touring around a few pubs in the city.

Not been out in Edinburgh for a few years. Happy to go for a tour of the old favourite haunts. drinking

Options for transport £15.40 return on the train. Last direct train home is at 2239 or we could get Jock to provide door to door transport. Question

toot indeed. Well he did say he was keen to get back with it. Just as long as we don't go for a steak dinner.
Looking forward to a great day out.
Jakey pubs and book club pubs. It's the combination. clap
And a couple of strip joints for good measure.

General feeling in Dublin was Jocks bus was the preferred option.

Leave Perth 10am, Depart Edinburgh Midnight (approx)

If Scotland play Brazil on the Sunday we'll look at the options.

14 seats available.

Names so far
Me
Gaffy
Shark
Nipper
Walks

It looks like Brazil v Scotland at the Emirates will be confirmed in the next 24hrs. toot

1. Do we just not bother. Shocked

2. Stay in Edinburgh on Sat night and fly down for the day. (KO ?)
3. Fly down to London on Sat night thinking

Other things to consider.

Walks could fly back to ABZ. Jock could pick us up at Edi airport on Sunday night. If it was an evening kick off (unlikely) we would need to stay in London Sunday night. Train looks cheap at the moment. £28.50 Edi-London 1700 on Sat night.
Discuss Exclamation

With 3 of us not travelling on Jocks wagon it will be cheaper getting the train. Last train is 2237 or an overnight stay. Question

There's not a lot of budget hotels available on the 26th. Confused Travelodge Westend is available for £70 (triple) and there's a couple of other hotels working out at £25 per head.

Walks, Gaffy, Andye, VimVanBB can you hear me Exclamation Are you planning to stay or head home Question
