With the Hibs losing to Hamilton they will be desperate to beat an upbeat St.Johnstone side that have settled well in the SPL.

Ok I'll adjust that result accordingly with Mr Wm Hills on saturday am!
 I would urge a cautious approach from the Saintees!
For although they have in their ranks one member of th "y - brig"
The Hibees (my dads team) have TWO!
If all three are on show it could be a footballing masterclass even Messi and Ronaldo would fit into!

| Hopefully our match reporters Rinky Dink and Davie Hall will share their thoughts on the match shortly. However it appears that Saints missed a load of chances early in the match and should have had Hibs buried. |

Match report:-
Well a healthy away support (i'm guessing at about 700) were entitled to be optimistic of at least a point at easter road as the Super J's started very brightly, creating several early chances which included hitting the bar and a header that Liam Craig somehow managed to put over when it appeared easier to score!
Hibs appeared lethargic in contrast, and seemed to have a desire to slow the game down to walking pace.
Sadly for Saints though, they also gave us a lesson in finishing, creating only 3 chances that I can recall in the 1st half, and scoring with two of them.
Alan Main also seemed a bit on the slow side to get down for both goals, which were low shots to the bottom corner.
Second half brought more of the same, with Saints creating and squandering a number of chances before the inevitable killer 3rd goal came along courtesy of a free-kick, which again Main should have done better with.
Once Smith is fit he needs to come in. Thanks Alan, you're a Saints legend but the time has come.
We also need a striker, we're creating plenty but the finishing leaves a lot to be desired - ironic really when you consider it was 2 goals a game for the fist 3!
If Saints had scored even half of the chances created, they would have won easily, Hibs on Saturday were not impressive.
Pass marks from me for Jody and Mad Mental Martin. The rest were below par.
