Evil or Very Mad Ive had enough listening to the bleating greeting moaning of Scottish referees!
I work beside one and he has been cutting about all week with a big smug look on his face Evil or Very Mad Twisted Evil
His salary for reffing in the premier league is £800 plus expenses per match! Including ebing teh fourth official. Thats no a hobby thats a second job.
Id take pelters for that salary and go running three times a week if needed!

They think they are something special and entitled to some kind of unique treatment -
Eh - Hello - you are the ref - No one likes you - we dont care!! get over yerself!

They have damaged Scottish football beyond all recognition and if the SKY games dont go ahead this weekend all of our matches will be on a part time basis. SPL will be joining forces with the Blue Square to create a super league for diddy teams!
Stop sticking up for them and feeling sorry for them!
And they do all support Rangers by the way!!!!! Confused

I've had enough of Neil Lennon and that John ffn Reid. Twisted Evil They earn an absolute fortune and complain about everything even when there's nothing to complain about. pullout hair

I won't be attending any SPL games this weekend in support of our referee's who have to listen to old squirm pish every week. Shocked

However, for £800 I'm ready to step in and get my whistle out. Laughing

Twisted Evil JT you are a part timer and are not going because St.Johnstone of Perth are playing in Edinburgh!

However I agree with your points

Embarassed The Sellick are totally out of order and should not have been moaning about the refs.
Despite one of them admiting to telling a bare faced lie.
Twisted Evil Lennon needs mental health support for his beahviour and Dr John needs to sell tickets so will do anything to stoke the paranoia which will encourage this. Rolling Eyes
The issue would have been easily resolved by immediately sacking McDonald the liar and also one of our best refs,
and the sectarian bigot Dallas - and like it or else and laugh at his emails as I did or not , that is a fact! The Sellick paranoia levels are in orbit on the back of these two events. Rolling Eyes

Perhaps you should share a monday morning coffee with my colleague who openly admits that he sets out to "bin" managers and officials to the stand - Lennon, Jeffries & Brown, Leitch of Aberdeen, Stewart the Gers goalie coach are favourite targets. Butcher, SuperSally, Malpas are among his favourites. Id be amazed if Goodwillie ever gets a penalty award in his favour again and dont be surprised if he gets a spate of bookings for diving Shocked He's not a fan of StJof Perth either Shocked
Id refer you to the excellent interviews with Wee Craigie Broon and Sir King Walter of Walterness. The refs should simply have refused to officiate at Sellick games and forced an apology.
Embarassed Shocked Its £800 plus expenses - nearer £1000 and you can claim back tax on laundry costs, electricity and washing powder and depreciation on your car! Just a hobby tho! Rolling Eyes

The problem came about because Celtic did not get a penalty which along with Rangers is their RIGHT when playing any other team in Scotland. Funny how Celtic did not get a penalty or was assisted by a refereeing decision against caley at the weekend. OH thinking it was a foreign ref of course.

Dougie McDonald has resigned so Celtic have their wish. Evil or Very Mad

It's time our refs went full time @ £50,000 per year. They want to be treated as professionals and now is the time to give them their wish.

Only problem is that most of the current crop won't give up their day jobs for that salary but tough it's time to move onwards and upwards.

New rules that allow refs to give interviews to explain decisions after the game and a code of conduct for players and managers before, during and after games.

Is Dallas's job still available ?

Embarassed Oh dear beefy that replys about as deep as a puddle!

The MacDonald issue is nothing to do with the penalty - which he got half right and was accpted by Mr 'serious mental health problem' Lennon. Indeed he complained less than Peter Houston did at the time! Shocked
MacDonald - a fine referee to be fair, Lied about how he and the linesman came to the decision to overturn the original verdict! The referess new this before it appeared in the papers.
Its the lie that is the problem - he cant admit to that, Im sure a number of them tell 'wee' or 'white' or 'fibs' to get by, but admiting it is plain stupid. It gave Lennon, Reid, Paranoid Pete and the thousands of other looneys just the ammo required for a fight. Rolling Eyes

Confused Referees are not normal, what person who follows football or enjoys it in any way doesnt have a favourite team? Confused Thats just weird! anyone who has an interest in the sport must have had at one time or another a favourite team but refs all claim to be neutral! Confused My colleague doesnt support anyone Shocked but his dad, mum and brothers support "the" rangers! what did they keep him in a shed outside the house when he was growing up?!

Ive no sympathy, they are totally mercenary and function around the second income not the love of the game or their favourite "hobby."
I wouldnt say they cheat but they are evidentially short of "honesty." Integrity requires a certain amount of doing the right thing, and striking and damaging the Scottish reputation comletely lacks integrity.

As for Dallas, he is simply too big for his boots, he likes the idea that the ref has some high profile role to play. How manyrefs names did you know before Dallas came along, about one or two and none when you were growing up I bet.
The ref wears number 23 on his shirt, who cares, they wanted to have the names on their collar like Italian refs do, who cares, they are ref thats all.
Like it or else, and a lesson for everyone in every walk of life, sending an email which insults anothers creed, culture or religion is a sackable offence and illegal too!!
Confused It doesnt show a very high degree of integrity either, can I question that? Wink

Keep up McBeefy Rolling Eyes

Dodgy emails Laughing I bet you could get your pal the ref in a sweat as I'm sure I've still got a few dodgy emails that originated from him. A few favours for St.Johnstone of Perth over the next few weeks should see them deleted. Wink

Anyway, Quiz question Question What JT stalwart was harshly sent off by Mr Dallas for a fair challenge that he deemed reckless and regarded as serious foul play Question fingers
