It doesn't make it any easier. We just need a decision so we can make arrangements It's whatever you prefer |

I'm delighted to announce that via text Nipper has now confirmed he is not taking the car.
I've booked the 0956 for Nipper, Shark and myself. |

Thats a quality deal at travelodge; totally premier!
To save travellers some money and make best use of the facility; its yours until 12 noon after all, perhaps there is some merit in the rest of us cuddling up on the floor under a duvet! |

Alternatively, I may ask directions this time to the wee big/big wee house at the back of the hotel which has a vast array of rooms and beds to choose from. And in the words of Trevor and Simon, "We don't do duvets". No, a much thinner version of a bed covering will probably be the only thing available. Together with one small pillow. |

I note that Cymru are playing Britain in a European campioneeship qualification tie - live on sky that very same day!
Any plans for watching this encounter?
I must point out however that the last time I ventured to Edinburgh with my ABE T shirt on, I was astonished by the massive support they have in Spamvalley City!
Is there a route map for this occassion or any such decisons been taken on where we'll be meeting, seating, eating etc?
Just so I can prepare myself!
I'll opine now that I'm not a grassmarket fan and would prefer to be a bit pished before venturing in that direction, if at all :roll
Will there be group attire?
T shirts?
Ingin in his Teddy bear pjs photo and a suitable slogan? |

I was thinking we could initially meet in http://www.queensarmsedinburgh.com/
it's central so we can then eitehr wander down into Stockbridge as there are a few good bars there and are close to Rose street and some around there.
I am donw in London Wed through to Friday but planned ot give it some though while away and drop an email out at the weekend.
Happy for anyoen to suggest other stop offs, it's a long day but confident we can fit in a fair few. |

All sounds good to me. Pub suggested is 1.1 mile from our hotel so a quick check in and we should be there for 1230 unless Jack and Victor stop off for a enroute.
Anyone else joining us on the 0956 from Perth. Mind your tins and snacks for the doms |

Ingin's general meanderings sound fine to me
Happy to watch the Wales play whatever game it is and laugh at whatever Ingin is wearing - suggest he wears the kilt
Suggest lunch at Harvey Nichols and a spot of shopping either before or after scran.

Aim is to meet at around lunchtime, 12.30 or thereabouts, in the Queens Arms, Edinburgh, link attached.
We can have some food and a couple of drinks and from there plan our next move, my initial thinking was to maybe head down into Stockbridge.
Naturally I’m assuming that not everyone will want to, nor be able to come along at this time, however there is no issues with joining and leaving us at any point during the day – expectation is that some of the less masculine among us will want to head to bed early and miss out on the real fun!
Drop me a line if you think you think you’ll be able to come along, but at perhaps a different time. My mobile number hasn't changed, but drop me an email if you need a reminder.

I have contacted Ingin privately and in private by texticular methodology.
I am content that the tarring and the feathering and hammering of liverness etc will be taking place in a quite posh book club district of Junkyparadise city and look forward to this with much anticipation.
I can also confirm that I am at present anticipating travelling with Jimmy Saville incorporated at approximately 11:50.
This will allow arrival at Waverley at about 13 hunner hours.
I am as always very flexible and adaptable and if wee Pawbs needs to go later I can accompany him when he has changed into his concept man attire for the day and we'll just get a bigger carryout for the journey. |
