The squad rotation system is working well for the Steelmen. Dee_62 and yourself back in contention for a starting place this week. The pansies were given a lesson in keeping possesion again last week on the bigger pitch. I can see a few of their players calling off this week as they won't fancy another going over on Sunday.
Squad for Sunday from the village. It's amazing the quality of talent available in such a small village.

Doigy rested this week.
Hope nobody from the Pansies reads this, they won't sleep tonight. |

you know that feeling you get when you've scanned the school noticeboard for the footie team line up and your name isn't on it? |

Just incase the Pansies did read this I didn't want them panicking thinking Dee_62 was back. Honestly |

The Pansies comprehensive x-factor search of Perthshire football talent paid dividends as they defeated the Steelmen with four new faces in their team.
The Steelmen lacked their normal spark but did well to hang on for the first twenty minutes when McBeefy looking for the 50p he dropped earler found space in the box and hit a shot goalwards. The nipper was about to come off his line to pick the ball up when it took a wicked deflection of Bill for an own goal.
The Pansies defended well and with an illegal player (18-30 yrs) were able to exploit the Steelmens 40yr + midfield. Three further breakaways resulted in a 4-0 victory for the Pansies.
A good confidence booster for the Pansies but they still haven't managed back to back victories.
The steelmen will work hard at training midweek and be ready for next encounter. |

Looks like there needs to be shake up in the steelmens team!
That kind of result is not acceptable! |

Apparently, after watching the highlights on Carse TV, the selection committee identified the weakest link and I've been dropped for next week Doigy!
Also, the opposition's formation of 6-1-5 will be reviewed at the midweek training session.
Good luck on Sunday. |

The steelmen back to their best last night coming out on top winning 5-2 in a 10-a-side masterclass.
A couple of tactical changes proved too much for a listless Pansies side. |

It's a new year but the same outcome for the Perth Pansies. Another defeat inflicted by a Steelmen side who like a good whisky getter better as they age.
To be fair to the Pansies they were missing five regulars but the future looks bright for the Steelmen. |
