West Highland Way 2014

Jailer Tours walking holidays are aiming to complete a section of the West Highland Way next May/June.

Day 1

Transfer to Drymen
Walk from Drymen to Rowardennan 15 miles
Overnight at Rowardennan Hotel

Day 2
Walk from Rowardennan Hotel to Drovers Inn Hotel 14 miles
http://www.thedroversinn.co.uk/

Day 3
Drovers Inn to Tyndrum 14 miles
After walk pints at
http://www.thetyndruminn.co.uk/

Citylink bus back to Perth at 1815.

Cost of 2 nights hotel inc B&B is approx £90

I contacted the hotels re vacancies for approx 12 and depending on dates we can do Thu-Sat or Friday-Sun.

I've just walked this section and its a great walk with refreshments available enroute. drinking

The hotels have excellent character and it promises to be a fantastic trip. I hope to have dates confirmed next week.

Depart 0700 6th June
Return evening 8th June

Rowardennan Hotel has confirmed beds for 20, still waiting on Drovers Hotel getting back to me.

Hope Doigy makes this one,could be worth his while. Just read Drovers Inn description and it says it has not been decorated in nearly two hundred years- get your emulsion up quick smart. (Watch yourself though there are ghosts in the walls. Have you ever emulsioned ghoulies ? )Hope they've changed the beds more often! Shocked
