As vimvanBB says it's squeaky bum time but what else should we expect as supporters of the famous Perth Saintees. Laughing

Huge game next week and a massive Perth support travelling to Dens looking for a victory and a defeat for Partick will see us crowned champions. fl1

Team choice seems easy as so many players were absolutely guff against QOS. Shocked

Main

Irvine Ruti Caff Craig

Millar Moon Hardie Sheerin

Samuel Holmes

I've left out Swankie, Gartland, Milne and Anderson from QOS game as they were terrible. pullout hair Craig is also lucky to survive as he has been under par recently but with no suitable options apart from the untried Kinniburgh we have to go with him. ok

I've selected big Holmes & caravan as Dundee have that big knhead of a cente half and Holmes will compete in the air where Savo will do sfa as he has done for much of the season. thinking

Come on ye Saints fl1 clap

Where is Peter McDonald?
He should get a game just for having such a hot burd!

If its the same Kinniburgh Im a thinkning of, pitch him straight in he is good enough for the big squaeky spitting sh*tpipe match.

I fear the worst though!

Only WGS's contiunued faith in JVOH is copmparable to Saints supporters faith in the totally lamentable Jason Scotland lookeelikee. His impressions are almost Mike Yarwoodesque!

Saints must play the one who is most likely to score, and it's not Samuel.

Peter McDonald is injured or I would throw him on for the start. ok

Savo is living off past reputation Rolling Eyes

Holmes tows a caravan round the pitch, if he could park he would be decent. Shocked

Samuel looks like Jason Scotland and for that alone he must play. Very Happy

Jacko is out for the season and Barratt doesn't look great so Sammy and Holmes it is. ok

We really need two strikers for next season. about time

Without wishing to piss on your parade in Dundee this weekend, but do you think this promotion to the top flight is actually a good thing for Saints. The guys I travel through to Edinburgh with seem to feel that while it's nice to win things, from a financial and competative perspective, they'd be better off staying where they are.

Thoughts please, are Saints too provincial and their fans too fickle for the premier?

Not seen or heard about any team in the Premier League been overly great this season either.Whoever goes up this season, surely this time Saints,I am fairly sure that they will be as good as 3/4 of the so called PREMIER teams. flag

I've had enough of the 1st Div. Any supporter who claims that he would prefer to see Saints in the 1st Div is a unionist or a Dundee fan Rolling Eyes

I know a lot of Rangers fans at work (2) who say it would be better not to qualify for the Champions League as they would compete better in the Europa League. Wink

Of course as you know Ingin all supporters want their team to play at the highest level possible. I would add however that the Saints team at the moment is not good enough to compete in the SPL. The Chairman and manager are aware of this and will rectify during the summer. clap

We are in an excellent financial position and will be able to compete with all the lower clubs in terms of attracting players.

SPL HERE WE COME flag

Very Happy For sheer enthusiasm alone I think the saintees should get promoted.

But be ware cause the winds of change are coming, wooooo! Exclamation
santana have run out of looka and The Old Firm will be off to the promised land of the Cannon first division in the next season or two Crying or Very sad
Don't be spending too much on the premier league just now as they might get there free of charge in the next season anyway when the reconstructive surgery of the EsspL happens.

Relegation with a premier league wages squad when "them" and Sellick depart could be catastrophic for a team with such a poor fan base.

However I hope Saintees get it right up the Scumdee tomorrow.
Come on you SaintS flag

Probably deserves a thread of it's own on another forum but if the old squirm are allowed in to the English league in the next 10 years I'll wear an England top round Perth city centre. Rolling Eyes

In terms of the SPL I couldn't care less if they played in Mars but I feel it would be the beginning of the end for the Scottish National team and it is for that reason I will not support them leaving Scottish football.

In terms of next season I have no intention of visiting Parkhead or Ibrox unless it is the game which clinches our return to european football. Laughing
