After much negotiation, I have managed to secure a swap for the Saturday and would therefore be delighted to add my name to the list for both golf and much eating and drinking thereater (it's the combination).
Happy days. |

There will be 20 golfing and 24 at Paco's for the meal.
The golf will be played in the style of the Ryder Cup, with a match between Perth and The Rest of The World.
The Perth team is to be captained by Craig Stephen, and the Rest of The World by myself due to the embarrasment of my place of birth
The Perth team is as follow's:-
Craig Stephen (captain)
James Stephen (also born dundee but given a 'bye' as stag)
Mailer
Deano
John Stephen
Jimmy Wardlaw
Hutch
Steve Crosby
Gaffy
Davie Hall
The Rest of the World Team is as follows:-
Ian Stephen (captain)
Jas O'Dowd
Dean Matheson
Alan Aitken
John McDowell
Don Shanks
Geordie John
Mike Pattison
Andrew Calder
Simon Bell
First tee off is 11.37, and coffee, bacon rolls, soup and sandwiches will all be served befroe so come early!!
there will be prizes throughout including the legendary Dolmio lager!
see you saturday!! |

Sounds exciting
Injury doubt for the Perth team Gaffy was on the phone last night complaining of a sore wrist.
Married life and children have finally taken their toll and Gaffy has obviously been over doing it.
Hopefully he can recover over the week and will keep us informed of his progress on jailer tours. |

I'd like to spring to my gay friend and colleagues defence at this juncture.
I can confirm seeing the gafster outside pound land with the entire clan mccartney.
I can also confirm the first thing he whispered to me was
"f*ck sake! My heid is totally nipping after two weeks holiday with Sal and Cameron!"
which he followed up with a long winded story about his sore wee wrist.
I suspect he is in marital bliss and now enjoy "real married sex!"
Wasn't allowed to discuss the up coming event or the forthcoming likely Wurld cup success as Sally whisked him off, shouting something about
- not speaking to non memebers of the rotary and that he'd better have those hanging baskets finished or there would be no golf or money for Faj EEtahs at Pacos.
Hope this takes some of the heat of poor Gaffy.
Pesronally I think it's quite barve of him, I just admit I'm not allowed out until after tea time!!! |

The Stephen brothers/best men as team captains have announced the pairings for the above challlenge. Please see below (order of play may be subject to change at our discretion)
Mailer, can you email on to Perth contingent in case they fail to view the wonderful Jailer Tours board!
Rest of UK on left/Perth on right
1 – John McDowell (36) and Dean Matheson (36) v John Stephen (34) and Hutch (36) - this could be a long long round but may finish all square on basis nobody finishes a hole. John McDowell can be called a cheat all the way round if he plays well
2 – Don Shanks (28 and Geordie John (15) v Gaffy (24) and Davy Hall (24) - Davy prefers to be called Gene Sarazen due to the age of his clubs (check the size of his driver head smaller than a chinamans ****) Will gaffy pass his fitness test, will Donald three putt every green as usual. Geordie John cld be a dark horse off 15
3 – Ian Stephen (19) and Jas O’Dowd (22) v Craig Mailer (24) and Jimmy Wardlaw (24) - Hard one to call this. Ian is a bandit tho mailer was on fire for 9 holes at sheep infested dollar. With Jas about most bad language group award. Jimmy Wardlaw will have a bag full of beer so could be lively
4 - Mike Pattison (13) and Simon Bell (14) v James Stephen (12) and Deano (18 - Not a good idea me and Deano. Deano "you could have made it". Mike is bringing his "A" game Simon normallly operates a C game
5 – Andy Calder (11) and Alan Aitken (8 v Craig Stephen (15) and Steve Crosby (5) - Anyone needs a handicap certificate call Andrew Calder (aka the master forger) . Craig/Steve Alan is terrible re his short game bet him he cant get up and down everytime you will win loads !!
Arrangements
Meet Murrayshall from 10.30 for pre match meal first tee offs 11.37am |

The shark and myself will be up for the challenge and are confident of picking up a point for the Perth contingent.
