Id quite like you to give the team line up in the following "sportsreel" fashion;
1 Alan Main
2 Kenny Aird
3 Tam McNeill
4 Jim Pearson
5 Henry Hall Manager
6 John Pelosi Alec wullie ormond Rennie
7 Raymond Blair
8 John Muir
9 John Brogan
10 Jim Morton
11 Gunni Thorfasen
Just as a wee nostalgic prelude to the game
William Hills now have safely acquired £2 in a five away accumulator, including Scumdee United!! |

Another classic encounter at McDiarmid but I would give anything for a crap boring 1-0 victory.
Dundee United had 4 shots on target, they scored 3 and Main saved the other one. Saints created their normal 10 golden chances but only converted 2.
Highlight of the game was Mad Mental Mad Martin Hardie coming of the bench to curl a free kick into the back of the net with his first touch to send The East Stand into raptures.
JT's prediction of 2-0 was wrong once again. However, jt's crowd prediction not far away. (7255)
Saints need to get some points on the board next week when we visit Hamilton. |

My requested nostalgic team line up caption has gone and went all tae fleck! It was supposed to look like the old fashioned diagonal typee looking style! I'll do some work on it and reappend in time for next week!
JT is correct! Saintees of Perth have a growing and well documented fantastic reputation for amazing, uncensored, unhindered, Brazil 1970/82, totally fitba Nederholland 1974
But the totally cr@p opposition that is StMidden, Kilmarncock Hamilton Accidentical and Falkirk dont care less about entertaining the public. Incredibly the saints of Perth are bellow all of these teams in the ESPEEL
A win in the league is an imperative but in true "are you Scotland in disguise" fashion the Saintees of Perth go to Hamilton Accidentical just as they have found their "kick it out the ground bearings!"
The good news though is that the "championees" will be in Perth soon and that much craved for 1-0 win might just be on the horizon. Lets face it they couldnae score at the "cafe noir" on a thursday night! |
