I think John Collins should be considered as head coach alongside Alex Miller, they have both got proven records and Miller was an important part of Liverpool's backroom team during their European success a few years back, as we are all aware it's no the best time to become the national boss but both are currently out of work and would probably welcome the pay packet (just in time for christmas) Plus it would keep the bigots happy due to their previous old firm loyalties... |

I don't think the appointment of Alex Miller would make anyone happy. |

Ok Levien has done ok with Utd and Hearts but his managerial exploits in Engerland were not to hot, don't think he is ready for the "big job" just yet, in fact I don't think he would take it at this stage of his managerial career. Have I missed something regarding Alex Miller??? |

Barny, good to see your 1st post for a couple of years. You have obviously been thinking long and hard about this topic. |

Availability and experience (it's the combination) leads me to suggest John Collins.
Is Alex Miller out of a job at the moment.
McBeefy, give yourself a shake. This 'source', he didn't happen to be called a cub, just last year did he? |

By definition the "rangers scout" will have nae clue about football so any of McBeefs suggestions should be discoconutted!
Frankly who cares; if the Daily Ranger or The Scum dont like the appointement he'll have no chance. All wrong!
Therefore it has to be either, Uncle Walter, Levein or any combination of Supesally, gazza, amoruso, laudrup etc...
I'd be tempted by any combination of Collins/MacAllister/Clarke with a decent front man to handle the all too narcissistic media.
Did you know that the most popular papers in the country are written for the reading ability of a ten year old! |

I was talking to Robbo (hearts) at a testimonial dinner .He states that Stark and Collins are the only 2 serious contenders at the moment which is bad.He also said that the 5th richest league in the world is the 3rd league in England which is why it is difficult for us to attract anyone decent as we cannot compete on monetry terms. He also said that if Dundee utd do not get a cash injection by jan they will drastically have to sell so it looks like their bubble will burst. His last comment was is Mailer still shiting on hotel floors. |
