Gaffy, I also hear what you are saying. However, it is time for strong leadership and difficult decisions need to be made. We can't afford the financial burden or the cost of human live anymore and we must pull out now and learn our lessons from this conflict and take a back seat in future.
Any parent allowing their son/daughter to join the armed forces under the present British government should accept that they are lkely to be killed or maimed. This is a government who can't afford to properly supply our troops with up to date kit and are still prepared to send them to Afghanistan to die.
Future generations will look back at this conflict in disbelief and as voters we will have to accept part responsibilty as we are letting this continue. |

Interesting facts some time ago from McBeefy; the muslim population in Scotland has an average age of under 25!
In 20 years time we'll all be living in Lesicester like circumstances!
It would be helpful if we stopped fighting wars with the Muslim countrys and started a period of living in harmony  whatever that is!
In 20 years time the indigenous Scottish muslim population will be very big indeed.
Integration is the way forward for Scotland.
Haggis, chips and cheese and pakora munchy boxes! you heard it here first.
I'd recommend Ridley Scott's "Kingdom of Heaven" as good reference point to start with. True story!  |

we needed to go in to stop them coming over and causing trouble, but we cant leave until we have trained enough of there army and police to a good enough standard for them to manage on there own. i think the americans will be there years after we leave.
but you do get a good tan out there and the extra money is handy. |
