| With Andye and Deano off home early like two girls, I've decided to get on a bus and head south! |

It is wholly my intention to get the 9:56 or 10:14 train from Perth. I will thereafter consume 4 to 6 pints of lager before having lunch. It's the back of noon before you get into the capital, even taking the 10:14 train.
The 11:14 takes almost 1 and 3/4hrs and has 2 changes. Not an attractive proposition.
Ingin, what are your non-perth staggerees doing? What time would you like to meet up etc?
Walks, as Mailer said, can you please expand? Are you off to the Emirates?
Vim, whatcha fancy? |

Gaffy Can I first of all say what a pleasure it is to have someone reply to a thread and actually take the discussion forward. I was beginning to lose the will to live.
I'm with you on the earlier train but was trying to accommodate wee pwabs who is working on Saturday morning. The 0956 is direct and a bargain £7.90 so that sounds good and pwabs can meet up with us later. Are you getting the last train home
A small point but there are two options on the 1114 which includes 1 change (beer stop) in Stirling.
Walks is heading to the Emirates but as yet has not yet divulged his route but I bought him a ticket so he must be going. . |

The last time i spoke to Nipper, he was taking those fortunate enough to be travelling on to London the following day, through to Edinburgh in his car. |

Looky-likey last train. Those not going to London have indicated desire to get last train home. Probably okay with that, but will check with Ingin if he has late night entertainment planned, that may sway me to stay
Is Pwabs happy to get later train? Not keen to leave him to get train on his own. Though this historically has been the JT way. Furthermore, to stick to tradition, we will not phone him to tell him where we are in Edinburgh. No, he has to wander round the city until he bumps into us. This of course, may take some time, but that's the gamble.
£7.90 does seem like too good a deal to miss. |

He's changed his mind again He would prefer to leave the car and get Andye to pick us up from Edinburgh airport. He might even confirm that here on JT forum so we can arrange trains/hotels etc. |

That being the case then the earlier cheaper train sounds good to me, im sure a man of Pwabs stature would have no problem catching up with us. |

If he's going on his own he would be better to get the bus, it's only a £1
Once Nipper confirms he's not taking the car we'll move forward albeit slowly. |
