I can see our local team Perth St Johnstone squeezing out the old firm for the automatic champions league spot next season.

What are your thoughts on that Ingin.

Apologies for my tardiness in replying, I've just returned from holiday.

May I be the first on the message board to heartily congratulate the Rangers for a magnificent League and Cup double; following on from the dissappointment of last season it was a welcome achievement for all like minded football fans to see the team come a whisker away form picking up the treble.

Regrettably I was out the country for both the savaging of Dundee United and the somewhat lacklustre display against Falkirk, and all things considered, am thankful to see the end of another season which brings with it an opportunity to look out the crocket set, tennis racket and harken to the glorious sound of leather on willow.

Nevertheless, the summer weeks will, as normal, fly by, and a new season will soon be upon us.
How will Saints do? Is it too much to expect them to finish top 6, or a more relistic goal to remain in the Premier?
Will the Jambo's managerial position remain constant throughout the summer, or will Steven 'son of Gough' Pressley supply Victor Laslo with his letters of transit and send him to the relative safety of the European mainland?
How will Mark McGee get on back at Sheep City, and will Dons fans finally realise that their success is well and truely behind them and settle for challenging for a european position?
Will Wallace Mercer rise from the grave and attempt to steer managerless Hibs into bed with the 'reds' from Lithuania.
Will Celtic, ahead of the Champions league pre qualifiers, be able to uncover a manager who comprises both a successful track record with an eerish background, or will they once again turn to Davie Hay?
Will Angry Barry and Dafty McGregor still be playing for the light blues, but more impoortantly, will the Gers scoop the lot next season.

Fix yourself a Pims with strawberry and mint, and settle down for the happy sight of whinging Englanders as they crumble in the Ashes series.

I no longer like the domestic soccer.
I have developed a taste for the blue square premier league and the womens Scottish cup however.

Unfortunatley the cricket does require a certain amount of supporting the national team, although it will eternally be impossible to shout C'mon en...eng...e, nah forget it.
I won't under any circumstances be cheering for the big headed australians though. And I suspect the urn will be at lords at the end of the series.
Australia have no bowlers and now don bradman is deid not much depth to their batting.
I'm not an expert though and will take counsel from Walks, who survived the ferocious pace attack of bubbly Joe during a double games period at the end of may one year during the time between football and athletics!

But don't get me started on that Jensen Button, what lind of name is that!
