As suggested by the title, I am proposing a little soiree for a week today, that being the 30th January.
Any of you crazy guys out fancying a few pints chez usual haunts, i.e. where they serve cheap beer, then let me know on any of the recognised communication lines.

Guys, bad news about the proposed night out tomorrow. I'm afraid, due to overwhelming demand, there is no venue big enough to accommodate us all.
It is therefore with deep regret that I must advise the occasion has had to be cancelled. 
Sorry everyone, I feel I've let you all down. By the same token, your keen interest has been very encouraging. I thank you.
